Glass Of Bourbon, Anyone?
I see that Google watchers are anticipating the end of Google's Bourbon update, and that webmasters and SEO experts will soon be put out of, or dumped into, their misery. Whatever the results for each and everyone of us, it will be one more step on Google's never ending search for better search results.
No doubt the debate and analysis will go on for many months, probably until mid way through the next update, whenever that may be. Unfortunately I'm not a Bourbon drinker, so even if I got a 1000 No 1 positions I could not "drink to that" in the appropriate way. Now, if it were red wine or beer, that would be different.
Is it worth approaching Google to name the next update "Nuits St George"? Maybe I stand more chance with Carlo Rossi, from California; Google may be more receptive then. And, you can actually buy Carlo Rossi here in the Philippines. I know I would not stand a chance suggesting "Youngs Best Bitter Update", even though that would be closer to my heart; I know Americans don't appreciate unchilled British beer, even if it is the traditional real ale.
Oh, well, that's it then. Here's to the Carlo Rossi Red Wine update. I'm all for that, whatever the results. Cheers!
